What is today? It’s Monday? Where am I? Who am I? What the hell happened this weekend?
These are the musings of one after the biggest and most glamorous weekend in the Principality of Monaco … GRAND PRIX. Between fashion shows at Amber Lounge, Philipp Pleins’ annual F1 bash at Jimmy’z, the Tagheur yacht party and much more, one begins to “I don’t feel so well” (that was an Avengers Infinity War joke, just so you know).
Grand Prix brings out the masses that you can quickly by sight divide: The Watchers and The Players. The Watcher typically don some sort of comfortable foot wear, cargo shorts and their “going out shirt” usually some a manmade fibre in a pattern that shouldn’t see the light of day.
The Players … well … you’ll know them from the blinding flash of diamonds and gold, with a lingering trail of Tom Ford fragrances. This weekend The Players were playing to win a bit like Daniel Ricciardo (Congratulations on your F1 win). They were going for the gold. LITERALLY. Here are my top 5 looks from around the Principality this weekend.

@salvatore_damelio This Neapolitan fashion emperor in the making behind the brand “Make Money Not Friends” popped by one of his favourite MC hotspots, Twiga, to hangout with Flavio Briatore. Clearly he’s making money, donning a black Balmain jacket with anchor motifs and nautical adornments and black Attitude jeans looking like a sailor that got lost in a rock show. For many, this look is quite extravagant but what they don’t know is that this is Salvatore toned down. Your look has you anchored in the Weekend Report Salvatore. Chantay, you stay.

What is Kanye without Kim? Every fashion killer needs their best accessories. What better than an equally as fabulous wife to twin it up with. Does Salvatore pick out wifey’s looks? Does he slide into her DMs with Instagram inspirations? Is there a daily mood board waiting for her every morning? We’ll never know, however, I do know that this Balmain dress she is wearing is giving me life after dying from seeing too many Birkenstocks this weekend. Like I said before, these looks are quite toned down for Naples reigning fashion royalty but she looks glam in black and gold and for all who don’t know … SHE’S WEARING BALMAIN LOOK AT THE BELT. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians Star did not come to PLAY! SHE CAME TO SERVE LOOKS … VERSACE LOOKS. Coiffed to the gods by hair god Ricardo Rojas and face beat on point by Sam Visser, Kris stunned in her full black and gold 80s vibed look as she hung out with her hosts Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo (Creative Director of Judith Leiber).
Jumping from the yacht to the race to the Palace, Kris Jenner was paparazzi fodder bringing her trademark charisma we’ve grown to love over the years of her and her family gracing our television screens. OMG. It’s KRIS JENNER though! As much as we can try, nobody can keep up with those Kardashians.

There’s nothing sexy like EXCESS.
