UK’s top boarding schools in Monaco for one day

In just over a week’s time, busy parents in Monaco and the French Riviera will have the unique opportunity to connect with the UK’s leading boarding schools in one place at the inaugural British Boarding Schools Show Monaco.

The show is an opportunity for parents to meet the heads and admissions directors of Britain’s most prestigious boarding schools. Top UK schools as well as education, property and relocation experts will be exhibiting, offering parents the opportunity to plan every aspect of their child’s entry into the world’s most prestigious English language schools.

Visitors will receive first-hand advice on entry requirements, academic scholarships and bursaries, creating initial ties with the relevant people ahead the application process.

“Our Monaco Schools Show will provide a unique opportunity for parents to meet a selection of the very finest boarding schools in the UK,” said Angus Gibson, Schools Shows Marketing Manager. “We have been running Schools Shows all over the world for 14 years, helping literally thousands of parents, and we can’t wait for our inaugural show in Monaco. Marlborough, Millfield, Sevenoaks and many more of the best schools in the UK will all be in Monaco: a lifesaver for busy parents.”

Worldwide interest in British boarding schools continues to grow. There are currently 69,979 boarders in UK schools, 41% of whom are from overseas families.

“The benefits of boarding at a leading British school are undisputed and importantly recognised by both university admissions teams and employers,” said Mr Gibson, who added that their list of attending schools has been refined for the Monaco market. “The alumni these schools produce include business leaders, politicians, academics and athletes,” he said. “These schools produce high-achieving, well informed and confident alumni, who make excellent candidates for top UK and US universities.”

Supporting the exhibiting schools will be top educational consultants who will be available throughout the show, offering advice and guidance to parents. Leading this will be William Petty, Director at Bonas MacFarlane, London’s leading educational consultancy. William has been featured in publications including The Times, The Economist and Tatler, and has appeared in BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. This year’s show is being sponsored by Bonas MacFarlane, British Airways and Tatler, who will be on hand with exclusive benefits.

Monaco is one of six new show launches for the 2019/20 academic year. Others include Geneva, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.

The British Boarding Schools Show will be held at the Fairmont Hotel on 19th September from 12pm to 5pm. Entrance is free of charge with online pre-registration.
