Iconic singer Sting will take to the stage of the Salle des Etoiles this Friday for a sold out concert under the stars. The intimate concert is going ahead despite the cancellation of a number of other European gigs earlier this month.
Sting will be performing in Monaco as part of the European leg of his ‘Sting: My Songs’ tour.
The show will feature some of the most famous songs written by Sting, spanning the 16-time Grammy Award winner’s prolific career with the Police and as a solo artist. Fans can expect to hear “Englishman In New York,” “Fields Of Gold,” “Shape Of My Heart,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne,” “Message In A Bottle” and many more, with Sting accompanied by an electric rock ensemble.
The dinner-show will be a highlight of the Monte Carlo Summer Sporting Festival, which is also set to present the The Jacksons on the 6th August, Enrique Iglesias on the 10th, and the Circque du Soleil on the 15th to the 19th.
For those not lucky enough to have brought a ticket to Sting in Monaco, he will be performing later in the year in Nice, at the Palais Nikaia on 26th October.
Earlier this month, Sting cancelled multiple European concert dates due to a mystery illness.
