Star Festival by Monte-Carlo

Star Festival by Monte-Carlo

At the heart of the Principality of Monaco, the iconic Place du Casino is once again the place to be for the end-of-year celebrations.

From 7 December 2018, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer will be dressed to the nines to offer unforgettable moments to its guests. A shower of stars will illuminate Place du Casino and all the establishments in the resort, based on the theme “Fête des Etoiles by Monte-Carlo”.

The sparkling décor will create a warm atmosphere for visitors with a wealth of activities on offer until 6 January 2019.

Each establishment in the resort will have its own décor and stars. Starting on 7 December, Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo will unveil its brand new lobby, magnified by a majestic Christmas tree decorated by Chopard. Named the “Golden Star”, this 8-metre-tall tree will be adorned with 100% ethical golden beads.

At Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, Le Blue Gin will be transformed into a mountain chalet, becoming “L’étoile des neiges” for the festive season between 6 December – 6 January 2019. With cosy blankets, games, a live DJ, a customised menu and a fully heated covered terrace with amazing views of the Mediterranean, a warm and festive atmosphere is guaranteed.

Don’t miss the “winter parties” on Thursday 6, 13, 20 and 27 December, from 6.30 pm, with a live DJ and magic with Simeon Wolfgang.

At Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, a Christmas chalet will be in place from 10 December to 6 January 2019 on Square Beaumarchais. In a cosy winter atmosphere, transparent bubbles imitating snow globes will welcome guests to savour Champagne Veuve Clicquot.

For the children’s enjoyment, Square Beaumarchais will also play host to a magical Christmas garden with a traditional carousel. The Limùn Bar, decorated in pink and chocolate-coloured tones, will focus on Tea Time from 8 December to 6 January – with champagne if you wish.

Close to Place du Casino, real wooden chalets with authentic alpine charm will be installed. Dedicated to traditional decoration, the stands are named Wood’n Fabric, Ysagem, Sabrina Monte-Carlo, Segraeti or La Magie de Noël by Narmino Sorasio.

Lights, Christmas baubles, blankets, traditional scents, tableware, crystal or porcelain items, jewellery and more will be available to buy. Visitors will be spoilt for choice to find an original gift for loved ones this Christmas with the choice of stylish and festive shopping on offer.
