The destination is Cairo, a journey of 48 hours above the Mediterranean, with Andre Borschberg at the controls. The final stretch of the round-the-world journey will be to Abu Dhabi, the starting point of the plane’s epic voyage in March last year. Bertrand Piccard will pilot the the last stage. The 16-month long project has been commanded from a special centre in Monaco, with Prince Albert present on many occasions.
