New season of Monte-Carlo Philharmonic coming soon

After a summer hiatus, the 2019-2020 season of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra is set to open on 22nd September.

Under the musical direction of artistic director Kazuki Yamada, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic opens the 2019-2020 season with an evening performance entitled L’ombre et la Lumiere(The shadow and the light) by Marie-Nicole Lemieux.

Ms Lemieux, a brilliant contralto, is the orchestra’s artist in residence and will be singing love songs inspired by Sea Pictures Opus 37 written by Edward Elgar, Camille Saint-Saëns Symphony #3 Opus 78 and Victor de Sabata’s Juventus, which will debut in Monte Carlo for the first time that evening.

The show beings at 6pm at the Grimaldi Forum. Tickets are on sale now.
