The New National Museum of Monaco is housing the latest project by Italian painter and sculptor Ettore Spalletti.
Ettore Spalletti’s newest endeavour, Ombre d’Azur, transparence (Shadow of Azure, transparency) is currently on display at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco.
Thirty works are being exhibited, a mix of older pieces from his personal studio and private collections as well as some new creations, inspired by the artist’s hometown of Pescara, located on the Adriatic Sea.
The collection, curated by Christiano Raimondi especially for the Villa Paloma, is spread out over three floors and is a vision of calming simplicity, in various pastel blues, pinks and greys.
A 90-minute documentary has been made to accompany the exhibition. Written and directed by Alessandra Galletta and produced by Milan-based LAGALLA23 Productions, the film is dedicated to Spalletti and his work.
The exhibition is on until 3rd November.
