Corinne Bertani and Béatrice Fresko-Rolfo, National Councillors, visited the Women Leaders Global Forum, 26-28 November 2018, in Rekjavik (Iceland).
They participated in various meetings whose main theme was “Power Together”.
The goal was to share ideas, experiences and good practices so that women could flourish and participate in the economic and political development of their countries.
Political, economic and associative leaders from all over the world discussed these themes during these two days and Bertani and Fresko-Rolfo were able to make known the evolution of women’s rights in the Principality of Monaco.
Katrin Jakobsdottir, Prime Minister of Iceland, reminded the audience that women’s rights can only evolve through education, family law, violence against women and girls, peace in the world and women’s associations.
