MyMonacoStyle Weekend Report

Well guys, what a crazy weekend it’s been, especially for a Style Editor! Keeping tabs on Paris Fashion Week, the Oscars Red Carpet, all the action from the Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival and all the sparkles from an Indian Wedding Extravaganza, I’m starting to feel pulled in 50 different directions!

Don’t worry though, I’ve still managed to find time to keep my eye on the streets and clock these Monte Carlo style feats. From high fashion to high street these following ladies are examples of how one should properly go about “stepping out”.

tie.elElena Peretiatko

@tie.el From Kiev with love … and a good sense of personal style, Elena gave us a dose of rock’n’roll softened with a nature tone. I love the rivet detailing on her jeans which ties in with her Pinko Mini Love shoulder bag with silver hardware. A hunter green wrap adds depth with layering and keeps the look from being too aggressive, though the black sweater is studded. Even better she knew exactly the setting in which to best photograph this look, between urban vibes and nature, which is exactly what her look is saying to me. Yay for Elena P!

berglindsagabBerglind S

@berglindsagab Oh yassssss, honey. Ms Berglind is here to serve looks on these streets unapologetically. Okay, is anyone else getting Cher Horowitz from Clueless vibes from this look because I AM LIVING. Check that Burberry check skirt! That Chanel tweed jacket! The silver Chanel bag! The Chanel pearl earrings! Did I mention Chanel enough? Her Chanel brooch is a cute addition as well! Berglind, you look like the chicest teacher I ever saw with those glasses, where can I sign up for your class? 10/10 cause darling you’re a winner for wearing the clothes instead of them wearing you.

anninakraftAnnina Kraft

@annina_kraft While more is more and totally major, sometimes less is less of a mess. This German entrepreneur is serving up simple glamazon. First, gotta love a good shirtdress. Second, gotta love a good black leather boot. Third, top it off with an out of the ordinary outwear and you have a perfect combination for those days mild days. I love the futuristic feel of this fur and leather gilet coat with zipper on the side and XL zippers on the front. Not too fussy and just the right amount of edgy. This is not your grandmother’s fur coat. Welcome to the future. A top knot and aviator sunglasses are a perfect nonchalant touch. Annina you get a 10/10 for this bad ass coat!

ladiesnbasterdsTiffany

@ladiesnbasterds First off Tiffany, love this personal branding, “LadiesnBasterds”, sounds like a fun Monaco divorcees lunch club! What I like most about this look is that it’s accessible and on trend. Easy to pull off with what you probably already own in your closet. Fray bottom denim is still going strong, perfect with ankle boots. For that wanderlust-instagirl-world traveller look add a fedora hat. A dropped back sweater is perfect to showcase a long necklace draped backwards. To lux it up add in a designer handbag like this classic Chanel Matelasse 30 and you are ready to take on the day … oh, and it really helps to have really pretty hair!

linabirgittasigLina Birgitta

@linabirgittasig Still going with the mood of how to elevate high street to high FASH-ON, influencer and designer Lina Birgitta rocks out in a Stradivarius leather motorcycle jacket and still this Fall/Winter seasons must-have accessory, the baker boy hat – this version from Zara in glen check pattern. As you’ve probably already figured out by now, one can never go wrong with Chanel … usually. Lina accessorises with a small understated black Chanel handbag. Casual and cool she’s the girl everybody wants to be and CAN BE without breaking the bank.
