The headline act for this weekend’s Red Cross Gala, perhaps the most highly anticipated gala of the year, is none other than musical genius John Legend.
The Red Cross Gala is known for attracting the biggest names in the music industry, and this year’s event on Saturday 26th July will be no different.
Taking to the stage at the Salles des Etoiles will be multiple Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter John Legend.
The 40-year-old American artist was considered a child prodigy and it was his grandmother who taught him how to play the piano in Ohio. His soulful sounds come from his time singing in the church choir and today he is recognised as a singer, songwriter, record producer, pianist, actor and philanthropist.
His first album, Get Lifted, was released in 2004 to wide acclaim, and featured production by Kanye West and will.i.am. He released his fifth studio album titled Darkness and Light in December 2016.
