AS Monaco’s away 3-0 win against Troyes on Saturday, May 19, club Vice President Vadim Vasilyev said that manager Leonardo Jardim will most definitely stay at the Principality side.

“My dream is for Leonardo Jardim to become the Ferguson of AS Monaco. He feels good, he is very happy at Monaco, we are very happy to have him, he is under contract and so will remain our manager,” he said.

While Troyes now drop to Ligue 2, the win for Monaco confirms the club’s second place in France’s Liogue 1 and a place in the Champios’ League next season. Jardim has managed Monaco from 2014. Last season Monaco won the French Ligue 1, a full eight points ahead of arch-rivals Paris Saint Germain.
