Monaco’s town hall is organising a free event Sunday that the whole family can enjoy. From 8 am to noon, model car enthusiasts are invited to bring their radio controlled electric vehicle (models from 1:12 to 1:5) to the Stade Nautique Rainier III skating rink in the port.

In partnership with the Monegasque Model Federation and MC Clic, it should be an entertaining morning, if the weather cooperates. These Sunday car mornings will continue until March. More information on +377 93 15 06 09.

The Christmas market is closing this Sunday, and the festive lights across the city will be shut off until next year, except in Fontvieille, where they will continue to shine for the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival and the new generation festival, until 4 February.

The skating rink will remain open until March 11. Tickets cost €6.70, €12 for a season’s pass for school children and students living in Monaco, or attending schools in the Principality or free for children under 5. Helmets for kids are available on request from staff.

Open Monday to Thursday 11 am to 6 pm (10 am to 6 pm from February 24); Friday 11 am to 11 pm (10 am to 11 pm from February 24): Saturday 10 am to 11 pm; and Sunday 10 am to 9 pm.

The rink will be exceptionally closed to the public Saturday, February 24, for the Monaco Skating Championship.
