For fans of French tunes, this autumn’s line up at the Espace Léo Ferré will be music to your ears.
The season starts with Nolwenn Leroy, winner of 2002’s Star Academy with six studio albums under her belt, who is experimenting with a new genre: folk. Singing French love songs primarily from the 1970’s, this new direction has delighted fans and those new to her music as well.
On 25th October, Saint-Malo native Broken Back, aka Jérôme Fagnet, will perform songs from his latest studio album as well as reprising old favourites. His electro-rock style is a breath of fresh air and a cut from the usual pop music fare.
Finally, we will see the return of the much-beloved chanteuse Jenifer on 10th November. As part of a massive 65 date tour for her new album ‘Une Nouvelle Page’, the Nice-native will be coming home and performing old hits and new for audiences to enjoy.
No doubt, these will be three evenings filled with song and dance, and not just from the performers.
