Air France blocks US embarkations

Air France has already refused boarding of reportedly fifteen people due to fly to the United States since the signing of an executive order on Friday, January 27, by American President Donald Trump, prohibiting the entry to the US of nationals of seven predominantly Muslim countries.

The airline said that the passengers denied embarkation were natives of the seven listed countries, although that did not necessarily mean that they had arrived from one of those countries en route to the US.

“We have taken care of all these passengers, nobody is blocked in Paris, we have made the necessary arrangements to re-route these people to their point of origin,” a spokesman told AFP.
