Ian Brodie, Founding Editor.
With 40 years in the publishing business, Ian has worked for UK and US press, and founded the British Weekly in Los Angeles in 1985 and Central European Business Weekly (1989) in Prague. He saw an opportunity for English-language news in the Principality and in 2010 launched Monacolife.net and Monaco Today, the daily subscriber-based newsletter. Ian is also Chairman of The Wealth Forums.
Nancy Heslin, Editor-in-Chief.
Nancy blissfully swapped the cold of Canada for the Côte d’Azur in 2001, and was Editor in Chief of the Rivera Reporter magazine for 15 years. She regularly contributes to Women’s Running magazine and writes for various in-flight airline magazine as well as Fodor’s travel guides. She became a French citizen in 2010 and, along with her husband, can be spotted swimrunning ÖTILLÖ-style along the Coast.
Lacey Tu, General Manager.
Texas-born Lacey is the administrative pulse of the Monaco Life Team. She is based in Monaco, where she also operates Girl Friday, a boutique PA business working for various high net worth individuals. Trained as a nurse, Lacey completed her Master’s from the International University of Monaco in International Sports Business and Management in 2011 before joining Be Fit Monaco, the private training facility to elite athletes, where she honed her business management skills.
Madeleine Karlsson, Pilates and Wellness Writer.
Madeleine Karlsson is a Pilates Teacher and health Coach based in Monaco. After taking up Pilates nearly 15 years ago, she undertook her first teacher training in 2008 and has since travelled the globe to train with some of the top Pilates teachers. Maddie believes our health and happiness start with how we nourish ourselves, both physically and mentally. She studied with some of the world’s leading health and wellness experts at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and through Maddy Well Health Coaching now teaches her clients to break free from the habits that no longer serve them and look towards healthy, wholesome and delicious food.
Siri Trang Khalsa, Monaco Paws.
Siri Trang Khalsa, a native of New York, is now a firm devotee of the rivera’s sun and sea. Her career spans senior roles in the private sector, government and politics, and now focuses on social entrepreneurship and international development. She holds university degrees in business and international relations and earned a Masters degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School. Siri loves meeting new people and created Monaco Paws as a quest to make friends with all of Monaco’s adorable dogs and the people who love them.
Marie Thouvenel, Intern.
Currently studying for her Master’s degree at EDJ, the Journalism School in Nice, Marie has worked as Community Manager for the popular French weekly magazine Paris Match and Côte Magazine. She is fan of cinema, loves entrepreneurship and is a fitness addict. In between studies, reporting and making the most out of life, Marie is editing her first book.
