A stand dedicated to the Rights of the Child on the Christmas Market

The 2018 edition of the International Day of the Rights of the Child, celebrated on November 20th and 22nd, continues with the Christmas Market of the Principality.

A stand dedicated to the Rights of the Child is being proposed for the second year in a row, at the initiative of the National Education, Youth and Sports Department.

Decorative Christmas-themed items made by elementary school children in the Principality will be on sale from Friday 7 to Friday 21 December.

As an extension of this solidarity initiative, Monegasque biscuits, cookies and focaccia, prepared by the students of the Professional Education and Adaptation Section of the Monaco Technical and Hotel High School, assisted by the Hotel Section, will also be sold.

The recipe for these sales will complement the funds already collected for the 2018 edition of the International Day of the Rights of the Child, which allowed to offer 10.000 € to AMADE, Presided by Son HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, as well as some of the 11 Monegasque humanitarian associations working for the protection of childhood, all over the world.

The stand dedicated to the Rights of the Child is open every day from 11am to 10pm. The public is welcomed by the management team and the animators of the Prince Albert II Leisure Center, the Monegasque humanitarian associations, partners of this 2018 edition, as well as the Principality’s school staff, who took part in the event. this solidarity event.
