The year 2017 is a very important one for the Prince’s corps of guards, the Carabiniers. To help mark the bicentenary of its founding, several events will punctuate the months to come, in particular the Bicentenary concert, to be held on Friday, March 10, at the Rainier III Auditorium.
In the presence of Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, one of the early highlights of the year has just taken place in the bar of the Barracks of the Carabiniers on Boulevard de Belgique with Commander Gilles Convertini, Head of Corps, Daniel Boeri, National Councilor, and Marc Costa amongst many other personalities.
In association with the Carabiniers, the Costa company, which operates several coffee shops and patisseries across the Principality, has produced 20 charms representing the different uniforms worn by the Corps over the past 200 years. The first 50 people who collected these 20 beans were invited to the party during which they were handed a 21st special collector bean.
