The annual Printemps des Arts music festival, which will run from March 17 to April 8, 2017, under the Presidency of HSH The Princess of Hanover, has given a preview of its next edition at the Press Club in Munich.
The Directorate of Tourism and Conventions (DTC), represented by its Director, Guillaume Rose, and Corinne Kiabski, Director of the Press Department, took part in this operation, together with their new Munich-based representative office in charge of promoting Monaco as a destination in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The event was organised by Sophie Verdure, head of the international press at the festival, with the support of Justyna Weber (Munich Global Communications), herself a member of the PresseClub München.
Le Printemps des Arts enjoys a well-deserved notoriety in Monaco and throughout the region, but it aims to be better known among foreign audiences. With the support of the DTC, the festival has been working for several years to strengthen its promotional activities with the international press, but also with tour operators, encouraging them to set up musical trips in Monaco during the four long weekends of the festival’s concerts.
For the first time at the PresseClub München, the Printemps des Arts was able to meet nearly 30 cultural and tourist journalists, who discovered with surprise and delight the identity of a festival as atypical as it is of the highest quality.
At the end of a video presentation commented in German by Sophie Verdure, a discussion allowed all participants to hear from Guillaume Rose and Corinne Kiabski.
